Your Society6 Artist Account

  • As mentioned in our communication sent on February 3rd, we are pivoting to showcase carefully selected artwork that reflects current trends which will better meet the demands of our customers at this time.

Please see below for some helpful information regarding these upcoming changes:

    General

What changes are being made exactly?

    • After 15 years as an open marketplace, Society6 will limit and approve which artists and designs can be sold on Society6. In addition, we will be removing artist plans and fees, eliminating shipping fees from artist earnings, standardizing our pricing structure by removing artist markup percentage options, and implementing a new artwork submission and approval process. Society6 will continue to handle marketing, manufacturing, shipping, and customer support.
    • Updated Terms of Service can be reviewed here and will be effective on March 18, 2025. Please remember to accept these terms by logging into your artist account on March 18, 2025.

When will these changes take effect?

    • The changes will start to take effect on March 18, 2025.

Why is Society6 making this change?

    • To maintain the highest quality and on-trend designs, better align with market dynamics and customer preferences, and operate as a more focused brand with a smaller pool of artists.

How will I know if my account is affected?

    • Artists will have received an email on Monday, February 3rd, 2025 with the subject line “Important Updates to Your Society6 Artist Account” either confirming their continuation as a Society6 artist or informing them their account will be closed.
