Artist Plans

  • When Artist Plans launch Artists will be able to select a Plan in their Artist Studio anytime before November 30, 2023. When you select the Basic or Pro plan you will automatically have access to the features associated with the selected Plan. If your Artist Studio exceeds the design limits, you will be prompted to remove designs before you can select a Plan.

Artists who do not opt into a Plan before November 30, 2023 will be automatically moved into the Free Plan. If the artist’s design catalog (including unpublished designs) exceeds the 10 design limit we will remove the extra designs on their behalf. Design removals are permanent and designs cannot be retrieved after the end of the grace period. The 10 best selling designs will remain in Artist Studio and the rest will be removed. If no sales data is available, the most recently uploaded designs will remain. If pricing has been set, the Markup % will be set to 10%.

Prior to November 30, 2023, artists who have not yet selected a plan will continue to have access to Artist Studio and no changes will be made to their Markup %. Artists will not be able to upload new designs or make changes in Artist Studio until they have selected a Plan.

  •

Artists who have active shops will need to select a plan by November 30, 2023. If a plan is not selected on or before that date, the shop will be automatically enrolled in the Free Plan. If your Artist Studio exceeds the 10 design limit, your 10 best selling designs will remain in your Artist Studio and the rest will be removed. If no sales data is available, your most recently uploaded designs will remain. If you had set your pricing, your Markup % will be set to 10%.

New artists that create an account on or after October 17, 2023 will be required to select a Plan upon sign up.

  • No, Artist Plans correspond to individual accounts. If you have more than one Artist Shop you will need to select a Plan for each shop.

  • You may deactivate your account at any time. If you choose to deactivate your account, your Artist Shop and products will be permanently removed from Society6 immediately. You will no longer have access to Artist Studio and will not be able to claim any unpaid earnings while the account is deactivated. To claim any pending earnings, we recommend that artists unpublish all artworks and keep their account active until all pending earnings have been paid.

For Basic and Pro Plans users, deactivating your account will cancel your Plan and you will not receive a refund for your monthly subscription. To claim any unpaid earnings, we recommend downgrading your account to the Free Plan, unpublishing all artworks and keeping your account active until all pending earnings have been paid.

Please keep in mind that deactivating your shop will not permanently delete all information from an account. To have your information removed from our servers, please submit a "Data Deletion" request as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Deactivated accounts can be reactivated by contacting our support team here for assistance.

  • If an artist's account is suspended for violating our Terms of Service, their Artist Shop and all designs and products will be removed from Society6 immediately. Suspended artists will no longer have access to Artist Studio and their Artist Plan will be canceled. Suspended artists will not receive a refund for their monthly subscription.
